...while genuinely promising young coach Rosenoir gets sidelined?

Whoever is in charge tonight isn’t doing a great job... losing 1-0.

I see Grant Hall isn’t in the boro squad.

Hall came off against us and hasn't played since, calf injury apparently.

Rooney and the gang have been properly Warnocked tonight. Hopefully they'll appoint someone like Rooney or Terry rather than someone like Paul Cook who'd keep them up. Hilarious to see them go down

Yes if Derby and Wednesday the stadium sellers went down that would be good. Signing the big star albeit fading star not really working out for the rams...shame!

McClaren now seems to be one of those football managerial merry-go-round faces that periodically pop up and disappear again. It's the managerial gig economy.

Things seemed to work in his first stint here when Redknapp was doing the managerial razzmatazz (which McClaren said he didn't like doing) and McClaren was doing the coaching.

It didn't work in his second stint when the club no longer had the money to get in big players that McClaren could coach, and he was supposed to be bringing through younger players, but just behaved like the typical manager in survival mode.

The thing is with McClaren he's a number 2, and very good coach, things go wrong when he takes the top job, for whatever it just isn't him.

Some our great coaches but aren't really for the hot seat, and thats Steve McClaren.

Two separate threads - why the sudden obsession with Derby? They are just one of 11 teams below us currently. Apart from hoping they remain so, I honestly couldn't care less about Rooney and Co. Top player in his day, but now... irrelevant
