I suppose what I equally find hard is how we fold though when things like this happen. Why did we not just pack our defence and midfield to just keep the score respectable? To be honest, I have had it with the game. The VAR, the big team favoured officials, the team's propensity to collapse. I mean I agree with Sonic here. We can be angry (and I am) about the officials and the impact they have made on Saturday and today in games involving us (accepting that the Red card was a Red card - no arguments) but how can we collapse like that and do it twice in 2 consecutive seasons! There will be the patronising feeling sorry from some and the literal stick that we as fans will go through. It is not acceptable. Surely Ralph would have learnt that if you go down to 10 men you drill your team into closing ranks/closing shop and making it difficult for the opposition. We didn't either last season or this.
