You can go back as far as 1948, 6 day war 1967, war of attrition 1967-1970.

Plenty more skirmishes, and they have repelled every one

You give it out, you take it back it`s all part of the game

They didn't repel the one in 73, they were overwhelmed before the yanks stepped in to supply them, and they got kicked out of the Lebanon

There haven't been many :
Syria, Yemen, Lebanon. Egypt, Saudi arabia , Jordan. Algeria , Morocco all officially considered as their enemies and at war at some point in the recent past

Egypt, Algeria, Morocco are not in the middle east, they are in Africa.

They speak Arabic, their religion is Ilam and they are inthe Arab league. They are on the East side of Africa.

Turkey is in Europe yet also in Asia.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

Egypt, Syria Lebanon and Jordan all invaded Israel in 1967 with the support of other Arab nations and Russia. Despite this being against international law and in breach of the United nations charter.

Israel despite overwhelming odds repulsed these aggressive enemies and captured large parts on these countries.

They agreed peace terms with Egypt and returned their lands. Meanwhile most arab countries still have it as part of their constitions to eliminate Israel as a country.

Yet another example of you supporting violence instead of democracy.

Well aid.
Sadlt the left alway detested Israel mainly becaue of Jewih people taking being educated ,hard working and taking profession and building businesses that provide good profit.

Most of our retailers were Jewish creations.Without them ,we would have had nowt.

It is left wing jealously.

The Bible/Quran both believe the disputed lands is their by right of God. Both wrong .We're talking about a book of fairy tales that has slaughtered billions.

Jewish people have not taken their grievances world wide and blown up buildings via planes nor have their enslaved ,beheaded and abused people they don't like -becasue of religion.

BUT .The Arabs /Palestinians are loved especially by those who see terrorism as ok if it suits them -like IRA fans. Killers who got away with untold murders to this day and are free unlike the thousands of their victims.

Sickening

Israel invaded Egypt, not the other way around. When they (Egypt) closed the Straits of Tiran.

With regard Syria in 1967, here’s an interesting read courtesy of the Washington Post (circa 1999). It cites an interview with Moshe Dayan, the Israeli Defense Minister during the Six Day War. He died in 1981 but the interview wasn’t released until 1997, by his daughter Yael.

Excerpt: ‘Said Dayan: "I made a mistake in allowing the [Israeli] conquest of the Golan Heights. As defense minister I should have stopped it because the Syrians were not threatening us at the time." The attack proceeded, he went on, not because Israel was threatened but because of pressure from land-hungry farmers and army commanders in northern Israel. "Of course [war with Syria] was not necessary. You can say the Syrians are bastards and attack when you want. But this is not policy. You don't open aggression against an enemy because he's a bastard but because he's a threat." ‘

Israel has occupied the Golan Heights, in contravention of international law, ever since.

So explain to me, as more left leaning, why I support Israel? It can't be true that the left do what you think.
