Shamima Begum has lost her appeal against the government's decision to remove her British citizenship and remains barred from returning to the UK.

Begum, now 23, left the country as a teenager to join the Islamic State (IS) group in Syria.

Personally, I'm glad she's been refused citizenship, but I just wonder how many times she can appeal against this decision, and who pays for her legal team, must be costing a fortune.

Thoughts ?

I just think to guarantee her future she should be prosecuted here.

We’re in control then.

We are in control already, she's living in a shite hole and we are not paying for it.

She knows that once she sets foot in this country, she's in control.

Does it work the other way then?

Any terrorist gets stripped of citizenship and the country they’re living in a has to sort them out?

Indeed, and even if she was sentenced and imprisoned in the U.K? It is predictable that the very same pseudo-do gooders who supported her will then be then off to the CCRC or Court Of Appeal to play the usual games, which at the end of the day is now being abused by the wrong kind of people. She has become a figurehead to be exploited.

Our legal system is now on many occasions being abused by lefty-loons and nut-jobs whose raison d'etre/motivation is to cause as much trouble for the police, the legal system, the government and the establishment.

That is why you have so many of these 'university innocence projects' that deny all damning evidence along with jury verdicts preffing to use lies, dodgy witnesses and irrelevant anomalies etc to get someone off. Even is she was jailed the usual suspects would come out of the woodwork and the whole thing would start all over again.

Who cares if she has a happy life , ask the parents of the kids murdered in the name of allah if they care ,or don't they count?

You don’t seem to care if she has a happy life or not. I want her to face justice, you want her to walk free.

Depends on your definition of freedom , I wonder if the families of all those murdered by ISIS would like to see her back here in the knowledge that with a high probability of her receiving a sentence of say 7 years as opposed to her being ostracised and denied all the benefits of living in a democratic wealthy nation ,sorry you can't always get what you want

Yeah I bet the families of victims of ISIS are chuffed she’s walking around free to give interviews and make a spectacle of the country on an international stage. But according to you that’s not freedom lol.

How is that the same?

The Manchester bombings - Two British born terrorists commit a horrific crime in Britain, are tried in Britain and sentenced in Britain. Quite right.

The cases would be more alike if the bombers escaped to Libya, had they’re citizenship taken away then did loads of media interviews wearing fashionable clothing and live out their lives with no accountability to the country impacted by their actions.

Lets welcome back a person who has no remorse over witnessing slaughter or worse .

Only one winner in this horrific affair , lawyers and ultimately legal aid soliciters .

Lots of people should be in jail, how long if she returned was put on trial (,found guilty ( no ones mentioned the fact that 12 just men and true could find her innocent ,there's enough in this country share her world view ) she could be out in 5 years free to peddle the filth which emanates from the followers of ISIS , have children , influence them as her family did to her , and the cycle continues

No way would she actually serve 5 years.

But for some as long as she serves time in this country then all's right with the world ,this way ( as long as some soft soaked panel of judges decide otherwise) then her sentence is or life not 5 years or whatever it maybe then when released with a new identity out taking money off taxpayers to fund her for the rest of her life

https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/crime/tareena-shakil-isis-bride-uk-prison-

This one was jailed in 2016 and was released in 2019.

It's bleeding bloody obvious why some idiots desperately want easier justice just so that it can suit their own warped lefty-loon thinking. It's not about the victims, its not about prevention of future terrorist atrocities. it's not about the prevention of radicalisation, its not about punishment(s) ever fitting the crime.

An obvious pattern of behaviour has emerged over the years with: innocence fraud campaigns, defund the police, and repeated attacks on government legislation like deportation of foreign criminals etc.

It's now more than bleeding bloody obvious that lefty-loons are on the criminals and terrorists side.
