It does look that way but as we spent that money let's be a bit patient. We obviously bought potential.
If he was 21 and the finished article, then he would have cost 20 mill.
I understand that we want points etc now, but perhaps we bought him with one eye on the future.
And just think about Morgan and Bale. If we judged Morgan by his first half season he wouldn't be here and the same goes for Bale at Spurs. They were going to loan him out to Birmingham FFS. Let's see what a little patience and development can do before we write him off. | | | |
