The old lines of defence of Karl Oyston was that :
1 we would never go bust under their ownership,
2 that he doesn't intefere with the management of the football team and selections
3 that we have had great success under his methods
Point 1 still remains, although the club may end up having to write off those interest free loans repayable on demand, if the companies in receipt end up going bang.
Point 2 has been totally undermined by the current manager saying he wasn't allowed to pick a couple of perfoming youngsters because they wouldn't sign up to new deals.
Point 3 has never been true anyway - before VB no success, after VB has been sidelined, falling back to whence we came at a catastrophic rate of knots.

Up until this season i sat on the fence mainly because we are not privy to the inner workings of BFC and what really goes on behind the scenes.
I couldn't tell you which was the straw that broke my resolve, there seems to have been so many, was it Riga, maybe, but the real clincher was taking Tim Fielding to court. What a disgrace. | |
