It's Ryan Mighty for Pompey at Wycombe Tuesday, 28th Jan 2014 22:00 by pompey-fans.com staff Ryan Taylor's second-half penalty earned Pompey a priceless three points at Wycombe. The striker netted from the spot after Wes Fogden had been upended. Before and after the penalty, Pompey were at times fortunate not to concede - but with Ben Chorley skippering the side on his debut, there was no shortage of effort and commitment from Richie Barker's team. Barker said it was about time Pompey had some good fortune: 'I must admit, even when I saw Ryan (Taylor) step up to take the penalty I was thinking we won’t be counting our chickens,' he said. ‘The way our luck has been going I was expecting him to slip over or something! We genuinely haven’t had a lot but you can only give it the hard luck story so long. It does even itself out, maybe we had a little bit last night but we’ve certainly had none before.’ Can Pompey make it back-to-back wins with three points against Torquay on Saturday?
