Rangers' protracted search for a second keeper appears to be nearing a conclusion after an offer for Bradford's Donovan Ricketts was accepted by the Yorkshire outfit.

In what has been a very public search for a second keeper, Rangers have been reported to be after Thomas Sorensen, Stefan Postma and more recently, Radek Cerny, but have now turned their attentions to Jamaican International, Ricketts - who joined Bradford in 2004 and has made 118 appearances, including 32 clean sheets.

QPR have today confirmed they are in advanced talks and as mentioned, an undisclosed fee has been agreed for the 30 year old stopper, who is a firm favourite amongst the Bradford faithful. Ricketts was reported by the QPR Official site as undergoing this afternoon.

Bradford have today signed Watford keeper Scott Loach on loan until the end of the season, in light of Ricketts iminent departure.
