Interview with a Dons fan - part 2
Interview with a Dons fan - part 2
Monday, 28th Jan 2008 13:18

We came, we saw, we conquered. So what did they make to it? Well we've spoken to Franco at BucksFizz.com for his views on the game.

1) How did you see the game?
We played like a team with no striker. I couldnt see the penalty but knew Andrews was going to miss, very cunning of your bloke to put him off by getting that red card and get the kick delayed. I'd have let Swailes take it (I had a fiver on him at 20/1 to score first).

2) At what point did you realise it was game over?
When we missed the penalty and didnt put you under pressure straight away. By the way we did equalise...it happened around 2.15 Sunday afternoon

3) Dean Lewington, is there a more objectionable player at this level?
You cant be talking about our left back. If you had him in your side you'd love it, he fights for the ball and gives 100%

4) That's three on the bounce for the Dons now. Is this a proper wobble and are there questions being asked of Paul Ince just yet?
Its looking like a wobble, but we had such a huge lead in this division we've got a little time to sort things out and while weve got you beating teams and the others taking points off each other its ok, we'll show our bouncebackability. Remember Walsall lost three on the spin at this time last season and won the league, but we do to need to get a decent striker in ASAP. Since qualifying for the JPT Southern Area Final weve lost momentum in the League....not too unusual is it ?

5) What did you make of Dale?
Well organised and determined and a if you werent tied to this divsion for ever more id put a shilling on you to get promoted, although your players will need to work on their stamina if you want to play in League One as quite a few did seem to fall over a bit too often towards the end of the game.
Thanks to Franco @ TheBucksFizz.com for answering our questions
