After the departing Glenn Murray was named as the Dale Player of the Month for January, the Dale Trust was left with a problem on how to give Murray his award. Till the Brighton Trust stepped in.

As part of the Player of the Month process, the Dale Trust picks a Trust member at random, gives them two free tickets for the game, and gives them the opportunity to present the Player of the Month award.

So imagine the disappointment on the face of Trust member Warren Brierley when he was the lucky name out of the Trust Hat to present the award to Murray, only to find Murray departing to the South Coast before he had the chance to meet one of his heroes and give him the award.

However, the Brighton and Hove Albion Supporters Trust have stepped in and have saved the day. They have offered Warren two tickets for the next Albion home game to allow him the chance to present the award for Murray.

We hope to have pictures of the presentation as soon as they are available. We're sure Warren will take with him all the best wishes for Glenn from Dale supporters everywhere.
