Our interactive Player Ratings saw Sam Russell named as Dale's best player for the trip to MK at the weekend following his clean sheet with penalty save.

After each game, we stick our Player Ratings online which allows supporters the chance to give their marks out of ten for each Dale player.  From that, the technical people have it sorted so that it automatically generates a Dale man of the match.

For the MK Dons game at the weekend, keeper Sam Russell got the nod with perhaps the highest individual mark awarded to any player so far this season.

We'll be offering the same service after this Tuesday's trip to Chester.
