Well it looks like I've got myself a new job in Hendon and will move to North London, an area I don't know too well really. Has anyone got any good recommendations on nice areas to live in that general area?

oh, tent, Welsh Harp then.

I used to go sailing/canoeing on the Welsh Harp with the school. I couldn't believe how crappy it had become when I was last there, although that was 12 years ago. Hard to imagine it has improved much.
Grew up in Hendon by the way. (Victoria Rd.).

In the top three worst away venues for youth football. I'm trying to remember the other two.

Did I ever mention that I was in Minder?

Update on this: just moved in to a nice flat in East Finchley.
Anyone recommend any of the boozers around here?

Bald Faced Stag is the only one I can think of (the name always made me chuckle as a kid). And of course you have the Phoenix cinema too.

Mind you, you're only a short bus ride away from Highgate which has loads of decent pubs. More than I can say for where I am in Edgware, which has just about one OKish pub :(

Poll: How old is everyone on here?

It's been totally regenerated:

Warren Farm!

Given the almost limitless number of endangered species on Warren Farm I'm not surprised, must have been like playing in a minefield trying to avoid a rare blue crested chaffinch
