Crazy taking Alcarez off. Manager got tactics wrong changing things and loss of Bednarek was also a blow.

So close but no cigar, great team effort such a shame we didn’t hold on.

Gutted but cant fault the effort, its mental we cant play like that against the weaker teams.
Bazunu is the weak link, feel for the kid as hes out of his depth and has no experience at this level.

Points lost thanks to managers brainless substitutions. Alcatraz why oh why. Lavia with 10 min to go, why. Manages to leave Ely on for the whole game, why. Just shows that tactically he's not up to the job. All this is a great shame as we showed a spirit & fight that for too often this season has been lacking

Shame this level of performance hasn’t been seen more this season.

I don’t have an issue with the half time change as both full backs were on yellows (as was Alcaraz) and Martinez and Saka were getting a looking dangerous. They weren’t anywhere near as effective out wide second half. The mistake was taking Lavia off towards the end which seemed to disrupt the team more and lose focus for the two late goals.

Look we have been poor for most of the season and deserve to be in the position we are. Most likely we are watching championship football next season. But being a Saints fan is never dull and watching some great entertainment tonight should be appreciated with credit to all involved.

Thought Lyanco played well when he came on but going defensive on half time was suicide.

Well that was some game. I bet if you asked any Saints fans for a point and a draw before the game they would ripped your hand off for it. That being said, it is 2 points dropped. My only really substitution issue was Tall Pall O. At a point in the game when we needed some one up front to pester and harass, he is not the right choice as he is too slow to cut off passing lanes etc. I think their last two goals came down to us being tired and not pressing the player with the ball. You can't give Odegaard that kind of space. Well a point is better than nothing, but just means we have to win this weekend. If we play poorly this weekend, then it shows that the players only care about the big team games and we will get what we deserve. Oh the ref gave a few of their platers breaks when they were pulling our players down and not booking them. Oh well, on to the next must win game.

Let’s start by praising three very well taken goals by the Saints! Not quite enough to win today, but suggests we may not be completely down and out yet.

Hooking Lavia felt like the wrong thing to do at the time and that proved to be the case. Otherwise I think we would have got the win. But a great performance nevertheless.

Crazy to try to shut up shop at half time. what an idiot to think we could hold off that potent a team for 45 minutes. Predictably, we didn't. Second issue, everyone else is saying so too, taking off Alcaraz instead of, say, Armstrong. Not only is the yellow card excuse stupid, but tactically it meant that there was no longer any way to push forward even when we had the chance. Stupid tactics, cost us 2 extra points. All that said, the team played a disciplined and structcured game and deserved at least the point. Alacaras was immense at both ends. But you still have to wonder how he came to the conclusion to play Armstrong, who hardly touched the ball even thoiugh he was doing a lot of running. And Ely was basically anonymous, but notably missed his assignment on Arsenal's first goal. Slightly differet team selction and very differnt half-time tactics would have got this for us.
