I didn't see the game only listened on Solent but the next few days will be much better because of that result And I don't care if we were lucky

Watched on SaintsPlay for a tenner. Good value for an interesting game. The two teams mirrored each other in formation and tactics, even down to playing the same kinds of traingles in the same spaces. In the first half Hull looked better at it and always looked a threat coming forward, while the Saints looked a bit hesitant in defence. But the second half it was the other way around and we played pretty well taking control for the most part. The winning goal was a treat on all levels.
Most of the team played well. I thought Sulemana had a good game with more defence from him than usual. Downes was imposing, and the CBs were excellent. it's churlish to pick out the under-performers, but A.Armstrong was pretty ineffective. And I've been tryng to keep an open mind abut Manning, but he really is rubbish.

Boorfest for 80 mins then an unexpected lucky win. You never know, we might even stay up.

Manning, Smallbone, Alcaraz, Adams, S. Armstrong, A. Armstrong, what are you doing?

Next game could be 6-0, 0-6, draw, who knows?

Watched it in a live feed. But only H2.
And yes our defence certainly looked well dodgy at times.
But what was really impressive was the way we battered Hull for most of the last quarter. And it finally paid off with a goal which they can all be really proud of.
Are we starting to like serious contenders for a top 3/4 spot? Well maybe.
But when I look at how badly last season’s promotions are doing, we have to improve a whole lot more to even have a chance of staying in the PL assuming we get a chance of doing so.

Showed grit and quality off the bench was the difference.
