Does anyone know what that rumpus was about in the first half with one youth escorted out whilst shouting, "Take me out!" Things must be really bad if we're back to arguing amongst our own on the terraces again.

Maybe he was some sort of live promotion for 'The HIT ITV Series' Take me out with that Phoenix Nights guy.

I don't know but it looked quite entertaining, this added to the disappointment of the day as maybe I should have gone behind the goals instead of the side, at least then I would have had a little bit of entertainment for my money.

That lad seems to get thrown out of every away game we go to. Today he decided to chuck himself out for some reason. The excellent Morecambe stewards were mightily confused!

I heard something about "he's the type of retard that is ruining football". Don't know who said it or who it was aimed at.

I think somebody asked him to stop swearing as he was going mad at something on the pitch.

He didn't like it.

He called the bloke a 'retard' and 'people like you ruin football'.

Then he walked out as soon as the stewards looked at him.

Possession with progression.

I was a first hand witness to the incident, as I have been on several other occasions.

Ricky was giving the team some deserved abuse, but his language was foul, beyond the acceptable.

After a minute of his torrent, a chap in some rather unpleasant red trousers, asked him to cut out the bad language as there were several wimmin and children in earshot. He did so in a very reasonable way, and he was right to do so.

But, to Ricky, it was a red rag to a bull, and he flew off on one, screaming at the red panted arbitrator that he was a fooking retard and a fooking disgrace to fooking football completely ignoring the irony.

A Morecambe steward motioned towards him, I swear with the intent to warn him, but Ricky, clearly under the habit of eviction, and by now out of control, thought he was going to be ejected again, so offered himself up asking to be thrown out. The bemused steward happily obliged, and removed him.

Given that we didn't see dog sh1t play, this was the funniest passage of play from a very poor afternoon!

Meanwhile, a famous ex-messageboarder thought it was all a denial of free speech.

When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf?

I was near the incident and Ricky was actually giving some ridiculous advice to stop giving the ball away, just after we'd had a long spell of possession

Nonsense is continual from him. As I walked out of the ground yesterday he was standing by the team coach waiting to stalk the players

R17, I love reading your posts.

Having Kenneth Wolstenholme narrating them, would be the icing on the cake.

'The red panted arbitrator' could have been a villian from Dick Barton special agent or a Two Ronnie's sketch!

Classic postary!

Please explain why a committed Dale fan awaiting players by the coach, probably collecting autographs, a notable nonsense?

If it hadn't been Tazzy, would you have felt the need to label someone elses similar behaviour as equally nonsense?
