Week 30 results

BRENTFORD 0 NEWCASTLE UNITED 2

Christian Eriksen made an emotional return to action 259 days after suffering a cardiac arrest but could not prevent Newcastle easing their relegation fears and increasing 10-man Brentford's with a comfortable win, to take their unbeaten run to seven. 4 got this spot-on, and a further 14 had the outcome.

MANCHESTER UNITED 0 WATFORD 0
Despite having 22 shots United dropped two more points in their quest for a Champions League place. Everyone predicted a win for United, with 13 going for a 2-0 in what was the weeks most predicted score.

MILLWALL 1 SHEFFIELD UNITED 0
Jake Cooper's second-half goal gave Millwall victory and a fourth consecutive win. 4 got this spot-on, with another 3 having the outcome.

PETERBOROUGH UNITED 0 HULL CITY 3
Only one win in nineteen for Peterborough as Grant McCann's second spell in charge began with defeat by his former club as Posh sank to the foot of the Championship. Well done to bwildered for being the only one to have this spot-on, and a further 12 got the outcome.

PLYMOUTH ARGYLE 0 ROTHERHAM UNITED 1
Rotherham extended their lead at the top of League One to nine points with this victory. 4 got this spot-on, and another 15 had the outcome.

LEYTON ORIENT 0 CARLISLE UNITED 1
Carlisle get a first win in nine as they moved out of the League Two relegation zone thanks to Omari Patrick's early goal. 10-man Orient have now only got 2 points and 2 goals in their last 11 games. A record they will be confident of improving on in their next game. Just mfb_cufc and gerry_us had this spot-on, and only BFG got the outcome.

A lack of goals this week with only 8 from the 6 matches, and a rare clean sheet in every game. Another tough week for 3 pointers overall, with only 15 in total. The Millwall 1-0 has brought that score level with the 1-1 on 24, in the battle to be the seasons top result. There is no doubt on who the weeks top performer is, as BFG was the only one to get two 3 pointers, the wins for Newcastle and Rotherham, and with two outcomes, he got a very decent 8 points.

Happy Midweek League Cup Just a reminder to those who have yet to post their predictions. The quarter-finals take place next Tuesday 1st March - Deadline 19.45.

In the Premier On another low scoring week, there is little change in this division for the second week running. With the top three relying on outcomes, TheFatGooner increased his lead by a point, and RSCOSWORTH clings onto second by the most 3 pointer rule from concordman. The final Super Cup place is still held by unitedwhites, and he edges a bit nearer to the top thanks to getting the Millwall 1-0 spot-on. After having the Newcastle 2-0 spot-on, basher2010 moves up a place to fifth. The only other change saw sevebalo moving up a place, but still in danger. With only 64 games left to the season, Blue4U2 has a lot to do avoiding being relegated.

In Division One This league continues to be absolutely incredible. After his surprise relegation last season, thrillseeker was the bookies favourite for a quick return, based on many good seasons in the Premier. He took a long time to find his feet, and was still only 10th after Week 24. But after getting 16 points in Week 25, he hasn't looked back, and by having the Rotherham 1-0 spot-on, he has finally reached the summit, to become the sixteenth change to the leadership this season. Two outcomes were enough for Lewis_1 to remain in the other automatic spot, but only on the most 3 pointer rule from last weeks leader blueeagle, with only a point separating the top three. Another to benefit from getting the Rotherham 1-0 spot-on was Tropical_Us, and he moved up a place. The top scoring performance from BFG moved him up four places, and into the play-offs for the first time this season. The final play-off place is still held by gerry_us, but it only on the most 3 pointer rule from wessex_exile and MrHappy2. Then just a point further back is Pinault_Noir. That means only 6 points separate the top 9, in this most exciting league. Of the rest of the league burnsieespana is near enough to break into the top six, but it is going to require something special from anybody else to be involved.

THE TABLES (216 out of 280 played)
