Keeping it as a civil discussion, but isn't she being hypocrytical with her current view that no men should be commentating on women's sport and gatekeeping it.
Personally i've definitely warmed to women talking on men's game and there are now some very good ladies out there and know what they are talking about whihc is brilliant for my daughter who is into her football.

Ian Wright is rubbish too but to many is a national treasure for his cheeky chappy London persona. I recall hi failing to mention only one of the 2006 Greek Euro winning team. He could not be arsed to practice their names and Papadopous was beyond his ability. Piss poor for the BBC. Stelios was all Wrighty could pronounce and he sure as hell was not going to practice.
She is a bit jealous of 'Wrighty' I suspect who has cleaned up all the Black celebrity advertising work. He is now the voice of 'Go compare'.
Cadbury, McDonalds, Google, Gillete, Marks and Spencer's, Nike, Specsavers, Barclays. He has worked as a pundit for BBC, ITV, Sky and BT.
Eni might be speaking for others as Wright hoovers all "black icon" work up. He benefits from a friendly personality rather than deep knowledge of football tactics. His only rival is Dion Dublin.

Thankfully i don't watch any England games or women games so i only see him on 'Stick to Football' and he is engaging enough for me on that.
I'm really not sure what she is trying to achieve besides coming across as being desperate for work. Not sure many broadcasters will go near her now for a while. | |

I watch the House of Common debate on racism in the FA and Mark Samson the England football coach about 5-6 years ago . It was a one side kangeroo court. Her teammate and backer is far more eloquent and engaging and Londoner currently on Talksport.
She was angry that Samson got her no cake for her 50th cap and put it down to race. Liane Sanderson. She is a banker for the BBC as she ticks a lot of inclusivity boxes and is very forthright and entertaining, | |

I'll be honest i don't rate Sanderson either. I like Sue Smith, i think she is top draw, Alex Scott is also a good presenter.
There are some really good pundits out there atm but there are some terrible ones too.

it was actually a very good debate, there was no name calling over shouting or over the top reactions. It was refreshing to see 2 adults have a grown up conversation. If only our ministers could act with such decorum during a debate.
I don't get her point at all about caps though. Beckham has 115 Caps but i wouldn't suppose he'd be a great pundit (Just a guess) or manager if he had the inclination to be one.
Where as Danny Murphy only has 9 caps but is an excellent pundit (IMO) | |

I find football pundits add no real value. If I watch a live game I'll tune in at the kick off, take a break from watching at half time and turn off immediately after the final whistle. If it's a Swans game I'll listen to Matos post match comments on the OS which are brief but he does give away a few clues as to what he is thinking. |  |

Nobody ever accused them of being a tick box exercise, nobody ever suggested they shouldn’t be there. Because they are professional, they are likeable, they are knowledgeable, in short they are very very good at their jobs.

TBF they are more presenters that pundits, which is a completely different skill set. Aluko however is not good at her job, she states that in 11 years she never received any negative feedback, but i'd suggest not renewing her contract is the biggest piece of feedback you can get. | |
