England to face 4 time champions Italy in Group D, so I can see a 2-1-0 for the Three Lions before the knockout stages .. Meanwhile the US will face Germany, only three-time champions, so an easier route with minnows Portugal and Ghana to tussle with in Group G .. *sarcasm alert. Ghana has been a bogey team for the Yanks and Portugal, they have a couple of quality players so maybe that'll be a challenge Tim Howard could in fact be tested once or twice, but Dempsey and Donovan will hopefully net one or two between them... So who's in goal for England? Any preliminary notions on who the starting 11 will be? Group A -- Brazil, Croatia, Mexico, Cameroon. Group B -- Spain, Netherlands, Chile, Australia. Group C -- Colombia, Greece, Ivory Coast, Japan. Group D -- Uruguay, Costa Rica, England, Italy. Group E -- Switzerland, Ecuador, France, Honduras. Group F -- Argentina, Bosnia-Hercegovina, Iran, Nigeria. Group G -- Germany, Portugal, Ghana, USA. Group H -- Belgium, Algeria, Russia, South Korea. Should be fun [Post edited 6 Dec 2013 20:35]
