So welcome back to a new season with plenty of enthusiasm evident amongst the faithful for a top half finish for the U’s or top 5 in my case!
A home match to start and finish the season, what more can you ask for.
Well a fit Sanchez Watt for one thing!
Colchester certainly know where the back of the opposition net is located after the pre-season games. Tomorrow though will be somewhat different with the return of Brian Wilson to the WHCS with the Latics for what will be an interesting game.
I expect that Joe Dunne’s team will have a familiar look to it. Don’t think that he will start with many surprises.
Magnus has been installed as club captain again with new signing Sean Clohessy to take up the role of vice-captain.
The very unlucky Tosin Olufemi will be out for 7-9 months with a serious achilles tendon injury. Get well soon.
David Wright and Sanchez Watt are both suffering with niggling injuries.
Therefore I would imagine that JD will line up 4,2,3,1 and something like this:
