Thus could be interesting in a wider sense, how should government documentation be shared? Plenty of documents are leaked and shared with political friends and the press etc.

In short, there is a risk of those in Government interpreting the law to suit their own ends. There should be clear lines of differentiation. We have a member of the legal establishment in charge who is bound to think that he can influence the course of the legal process.

Tesco is a big business, 99 percent of private sector workers are in small and medium sized businesses.
I agree that Tesco has a typical small retail margin, there is room to tighten up on some aspects of the part time full timers, which has already been partly addressed. But Tesco is not under threat from the current moronic legislation, it can put up its prices.
The jobs under threat are in small enterprises that struggle to make any profit whatsoever.
The diversionary tactic of painting out how much large employers make is ignorant at best. The big risk to the economy is the pressure on small businesses. I understand that many on government are career politicians or civil servants but that does not prevent them from doing basic research into what they are managing.

What I don't hear is that there about 5 million small businesses in the UK, they employ about 60 percent of the private sector workforce, the people who make the money to fund the public sector, all those doctors, nurses and teachers etc
The average profit for small business is about £12,000 a year. The whole economy is finely balanced.
The lefty loonies think that businesses are awash with money, dumb, dumb, dumb!

If you add in medium sized enterprises then that is 99 percent of the private sector workforce by number, these are not billionaires or tech moguls but people balancing the businesses' books month to month.

The recent tax and employment law changes are ruining the economy, there are going to have to be more u turns.

The majority of people work in small businesses and most small businesses are marginally profitable. They seem to think every business is Amazon.

The Apostle was my favourite of his films, there's a dozen or so of his films that I enjoyed. Sad to see him depart.

UAE concerned about British Radicalisation!
at 20:39 15 Feb 2026

It is a worry for us, the same extremists have a very narrow view of their religion and how things should operate and how a country should work. They are completely intolerant of any other view including moderate Muslims.
We have a problem with activists usually on the left who seem persuaded that we should tolerate, indeed encourage this radical view of society.

The UAE think we have a radicalisation problem and are cutting back on sending students to the UK.

I wonder what you think of a country that executes LGBTQ people for who they are, executes political opponents and pays pensions to people who kill people in neighbouring countries.

Cardiff Rugby

It's become apparent that the change is top down based on financial constraints. It's obvious that there has not been involvement in developing a solution from the grass roots and there is a complete lack of design principles in identifying the best way forward.

What is a design principle, it's a standard or value that is important for success, to those involved and to the wider organisation and stakeholders. Here are examples of obvious ones for Welsh rugby, on which they are failing.

The importance of rugby to the whole nation has to be recognised and encouraged as a result of the new solution, no one should feel excluded.
The solution must enable many people to play rugby at all levels, wider pyramids enable you to build higher.

It's poorly managed and will lead to poor delivery.

I've made this point in the past, there are over 110 armed conflicts in the World but the dim whitted activist types are obsessed with one, which rather ruins their attempts to tell us they understand issues better than anyone else.
