Town’s 6-0 romp at Doncaster on Tuesday has won the League Managers’ Association’s F&C Performance of the Week Award. A five-man panel made up of former Blues boss Joe Royle, Sir Alex Ferguson, Dave Bassett, Howard Wilkinson and Barry Fry picked the victory out as week’s outstanding performance.

Manager Paul Jewell will be presented a specially engraved crystal football in front of Sky’s cameras on Saturday.

Town previously won the award when Jim Magilton’s side beat Bristol City 6-0 at Portman Road in November 2007, the last time the Blues scored six goals.
