Following the success of last year's event, Swansea City AFC, in conjunction with the Supporters Trust and the City Council, will hold the 2nd Liberty Stadium Open Day on Sunday 26th August.
The 2006 Day was attended by more than 5000 people and organisers hope that this year's event will attract similar numbers, with more activities planned for the day. Supporters will be able to mingle with the players and management as well as see the inside of the stadium, including the home dressing room and the boardroom.
Also available on the day will be face painting, football skills, children's entertainers and both the Swans mascots - Cyril and Cybil.
There will also be merchandise stalls available selling both current Swans items and Vetch Field memorabilia.
A free events programme will be given to all entrants to the stadium and all will be entered into a draw to win a Swans shirt in association with programme sponsors, Nationwide Insurance of Swansea.
The event will run from 10am to 3pm and admission will be charged at £2 per adult and £1 per junior. Swansea Council will also make a £1 charge for anyone wishing to park their car in the Stadium car park.
Trust Chairman Phil Sumbler said "It was tremendous to see so many of our supporters attending last year's event and we hope that people will support this one in as many numbers. Roberto has been extremely busy over the summer and this is the first chance for many supporters to meet his new recruits, and of course to listen to the thoughts of the manager as the new season gets underway."
Adding to that, Swans General Manager Alun Cowie said "We are extremely proud of our stunning home and we look forward to welcoming everyone into the stadium for what promises to be a great day for all the family."
A full programme and timescale of events will be published nearer the day.
