Roberto Martinez takes his side to Plymouth tomorrow insisting they must be on the top of their game

Home Park is the venue for the Swans first live TV date of the season and Roberto is not underestimating his opponents despite them being hotly tipped for relegation.

Their fans are equally as pessimistic ahead of the game and believe themselves that they are set for a season of struggle as the Swans fans look more towards the top end of the table as to what they believe to be possible.

But if there was every any danger (which there wasn't) of Roberto thinking his team were in for an easy ride he quashed those thoughts immediately by telling the Evening Post "Plymouth have too much experience and too much quality to struggle in this league

"They are very aggressive in their style of play and they are very effective — that's been proved by the success they've had at this level in the last few years.

"In Paul Sturrock they have a manager who knows everything about the division and one who always puts very competitive sides together.

"We don't expect anything different tomorrow.

"They have added quite a few new faces over the summer and it can take time for everyone to find their feet.

"But I believe they will be a force in the Championship when everyone understands each other, and we will need to be at the top of our game to get anything against them.

"Plymouth are a team waiting to click and we just hope it doesn't happen for them this weekend.

"Picking the team is the easy bit of management," Martinez added upon questioned on his team selection for the weekend with Angel Rangel looking set to start again ahead of Matty Collins.

"Plymouth is going to be a completely different test from last week but we want to try to be consistent in our performances.

"If we can play like we did against Nottingham Forest, we will get results without a doubt."
