 Monday, 17th Jan 2011 13:57 Talksport have reported that Newcastle are ready to make a bid for Ashley Williams The Swansea City defender has been ever present this season and that - according to Talksport - means that Newcastle United are ready to make a bid for him. They also report that Swansea have turned down bids of £2m for the defender whose agent said earlier in the month was unlikely to leave in this transfer window. Talksport believe that Newcastle are looking for a regular partner for Febrico Coloccini and believe that Wales captain Williams is the man for them.
