Matchday programme v Bradford Thursday, 17th Jan 2008 23:06
Rochdale AFC’s matchday programme – The Voice of Spotland – is back for
Saturday’s game against Bradford City.
The bumper 60-page issue contains everything you’ve come to expect of the
Dale programme:
- There are the serious and not-so-serious articles, as well as a fine
selection of action pictures from the Accrington and Rotherham game taken by
photographers Carl Flaherty and Daniel Youngs.
- Keith Hill looks back at our wins at Wycombe and Chesterfield, while there
is an exclusive interview with reserve team striker Ben Wharton.
- A Dale promotion winner appears as the Centenary Legend, while we find out
which player thinks his driving test examiner shouldn’t have failed him!
- Scrutator advises people not to mess with the footballing gods, while
Travellers Tales returns with a review of the game at Wrexham on Boxing Day.
- We have a Dale-related quiz to test the grey matter and a look back ten
years to when a Dale legend first appeared for the club.
- Visitors Bradford City get five pages of coverage, while the ‘100 Years of
Rochdale AFC’ article returns, with an in-depth look at the 1986/87 and
1987/88 seasons.
All this and much, much more will be in Saturday’s The Voice of Spotland, on
sale in the Club Shop and around the ground, still priced at £2.50.
