![]() Thursday, 7th Aug 2008 17:41 BBC Radio Leeds will be covering every BRADFORD CITY game next season. BBC Radio Leeds announced that they will be covering EVERY Bradford City away game next season, league and cup! And former Leeds favourite John Hendrie will be part of their punditry team as the Bantams aim to bounce out of League Two. It marks something of the end of an era for Leeds fans. The club announced earlier in the year that Radio Leeds would not be covering the whites' for the 2008/09 season and instead Yorkshire Radio would be providing commentary. But Yorkshire Radio is strictly a DAB station, so unless you have a DAB radio at home or in your car, you are stuffed basically! However I seem to remember Uncle Ken pointing out that you can buy a DAB Radio for under thirty quid these days, which is true - but my experience with digital radios have been mixed to say the least. Maybe it is my hearing, I am in my mid-30's, but it only sounds marginally better than FM and at my mum's house, the signals were so poor, Five Live sounded clearer on the old AM frequency! Those who are ready for the digital switchover, will hear the familiar tones of Eddie Gray - as he moves from the Radio Leeds team to Yorkshire Radio, starting with Saturday's eagerly anticipated trip to sunny Scunny!
