Saints have another home tie in the JPT Trophy.

Last season Saints were lucky in the JPT in that they were drawn at home in all of the rounds, although it was tempered by the fact that in two of the games Norwich & Charlton were the visitors and they were two of the best teams in the competition.

This season as Saints defend the trophy they have yet another home tie, this time in the 1st round and Swindon Town are the visitors to St Mary's, last season the Wiltshire club were one of the surprise packages in League 1, whether they can keep up that success we will know by the time they arrive at St Mary's

Hopefully the club will maintain the price structure they did in last seasons tournament and encourage supporters that dont usually attend games to venture out.

Certainly this tournament will forever be linked to Markus Liebherr by Saints supporters and hopefully the club will recognise this and ensure that as many Saints supporters as possible are able to attend.
