Being reported from a number of sources.

What happened to the funding the club reportedly secured from America?

Some of it they must have spent on loose women and chocolate.

A recent article stated that more funding had been secured from America this month. Supposedly separate to the loan from over a year ago.

And there were investments accruing interest.

Yes but it could have been Jake put his money in last year with a promissory note from the others that the club could draw down on it when needed?

Not a great look for the club if we spend the whole window gathering funds for both O’Riley and Darling only to end up with neither!

It's a viable possibility.

Although as I say, this is supposedly not linked to loans.

Bit cryptic that Keith.. don’t like it one bit. When you leave things open for interpretation with the swans, often the worst case scenario can be safely presumed

You presumably have been around long enough to realise things start happening in the last two days. It should not happen of course but it always does.

The reason in part is the arrogance of the big clubs. They do things at their own pace and do not bother with giving "the little people" notice. As we see with Laird. Gone in a flash. Williams when they get around to it.

Swansea tend to get out bid by teams reporting annual loses of £40m. Club like Stoke and Midblesborough. what can the club do? Swansea bid £3m for Ryan Woods three years ago and declined to pay £6m. Stoke paid it. More fool them. Woods like O'Riley was the "real deal" and bombed immediately.

The whole Woods ordeal still annoys to this day even after we now know he’s not cut out for it

Sadly it queried the patch with Potter who did not show up for the Press conference coincidentally. Potter is a great coach but McCauley his recruitment man was a disaster for Swansea, £7m better spent could have been decisive.

Rhys Williams just recalled by LFC so that’s another wage saved.

How many out is that now starting to lose track
Need a few incoming surely but if we dont have money for O.Reilly do we have money for anyone.

Hard to see the point in the posturing for players if the money is not there.

I would not be best pleased if this guy took over Swansea. A TV personality rich but probably not mega rich. Buying price £30m

what was wrong with the Alams? Did they insist on balancing the books or other antisocial activities?. They wanted to rename them the Tigers of course which did not go down well with the faithful that had low aspirations. The Alams wanted to compete in the PL and tap into branding opportunities in he far east.

What's the source(s) for this ?

Darling is a must-do. Funds are available. I'd be very surprised if Martin doesn't get a Darling to solidify our creaking spine.

To be fair i dont know how this was supposed to happen. He has given players a chance and obviously does not like what he sees. Rhys Williams has been a big disapointment, i never saw that coming poor lad has lost his confidence so badly that i really felt for him on his last final sub outing.

He has replaced GK hopefully improving base of spine, then we have the vacancy with Downes in behind Piroe. That to me will improve with games and what i think we need is pacy wing backs.

I stated we couldnt judge RM until Xmas to give him a fair chance and in my opinion he deserves backing in the transfer market getting in players to carry out his vision. People forget that players need time to settle as well i remember fans going off about Guehi being a complete waste of wages also Bidwell fans lamenting his departure forget he was struggling big time at first, then good pro that he is turned into a decent LB for us but will never be a WB.

I dont get why we are getting rid of Fulton and seem to be keeping and playing players like Bennet over Cabango who needs to play to see if he can play the role required. But hey thats football !!!!!
