Can we make the play-offs?
Not sure how catching the ball and throwing it in the back of the net for their first wasn't spotted. Second goal we get very badly caught out down the flank. Great header from Dykes, good shutting down from Martin. Dozzell almost wins it but a battling point and they have to take the spirit of this into the Coventry game. 1st WBA goal was hand ball....goal should not have stood. However, why did Dickie(??) need to foul the WBA player for the free kick that the goal come from. Decent cross in from the free kick.
2nd WBA was a defensive disaster.....why give the free kick away?? (Dunne??). WE then let them take the kick and they had 4 against our 2. Good save from Deing but Field(??) lost the scorer.
1st QPR goal.....very decent hard cross from Chair, well met by Dykes, got in front of his man to win a nice header.
2nd QPR goal....poor defence from the keeper but well played Martin for the shut down and block.
WE were generally far better today and deserved the point (at least).
I should add that I thought that WBA were a very poor outfit. [Post edited 10 Apr 2023 18:29]

They left out Richards' header shortly before Dozzell's effort. 2 good chances to nick it at the end but satisfied with a point nonetheless. |  | | |

Yep, Richards definitely has something about him. If they can sort out his problems, whatever they are, he might be worth the £500k we're said to be shelling out for him in the summer. |  | | |
