Ramsey 14:55 - Jul 13 with 1900 viewspencoedjack

Looks like he's joining the Bassey's.

Thoughts?

Personally I think he is very overrated (nothing to do with the fact he's played 23 games for them) but obviously will be a decent championship player if he stays fit.

Big risk on high wages no doubt.

A has been taking advantage of an over sentimental fan base .
One last hurrah before he settles down to count out his pension

Let's see if he's got the grit to enjoy a relegation battle.

I hope he plays as well or them as he did for Wales. Trible doube

Think he got rumbled in Italy .
His career at the top effectively ended there

Brilliant signing. And Ramsey seems to have sacrificed a hell of a lot to make the return

Had a great 2016.

But after that …

His two last games against us (Arsenal ) will tell you all you need to know ,on his day many moons ago then I'd have loved to have seen him here ,now sorry his good days are behind him

Taken a huge wage cut, think he was in 100k a week at Nice, more again at Juve…..he approached ccfc as he wants to live at home in Lisvane, his kids are already in school here. Robinson was our highest earner on 28 a week. Heard he was offered about that…..

It suits both purposes but just like Allen with us, they won't be having the player they want and remember.

Ramsey us 33 this year and I can only base it on what I have seen with Wales but he still thinks he is something special when in reality he gives the ball away easily and doesn't do much tracking back.

He will gain them a few points with his ability in games but will also spend large spells as a passenger or on the treatment table.

Been a great player in his time, nice to see him going back to his home club for the twilight years of his wonderful career.

If he was a Swansea lad and decided to end his career with us, I'm sure some would be singing a different tune, touch of sour grapes I fear.

He will be ok in the Championship if he stays injury free.
It’s a step down from the big leagues.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Can't see it really, every manager will be telling their midfielders to kick lumps out of him.

No difference to Joe coming back to us.

Can he stay injury free is the big question, if he does he should be a tidy addition for them

You give it out, you take it back it`s all part of the game

Not 1976 anymore…..the championship isn’t the PL but it’s hardly roughing it….he will be fine.
How old was Joe when he came back? Know it didn’t work out that well but he must be a decent sort to have around the club working the younger ones through….

Joe Allen isn't as big a name as Ramssey, yes it isn't 70s but the championship is far tougher physically than any league that he has played in for years.

There will be alot of pressure on him to play as many games as possible.

Peaked in 2016, been on the slide ever since leaving Arsenal. Injury prone & a massive gamble no matter how big a wage cut he has taken. Expect him to have the odd good game but lots of average or poor performances - expect him to miss more games than he plays
