Looked like a shot to me. Not sure if there was anyone in the middle to cross it to. |

Chair seemed to be holding that shield thing they give, during the after match celebrations. |

I can see past the scum connection but he doesn't help himself with his tweets about it. I think there is always a mistake in him. Friday there was the one he hesitated on. Preston there was a flap at a corner similar to the Plymouth one. Hull there was the rushing out for the second goal. Southampton away, the first goal he should have got down to. These are the ones that immediately come to mind; There are more. Even some of his saves on Friday, on another day fall to an attacker and not one of our players. He's had his good moments but he is often indecisive and only occasionally starts a counter. We need better and a more modern style of sweeper keeper who can also add an extra dimension to our playing out, as well as, starting attacks. |

Referee's seem to show him the yellow at the first opportunity. Leeds players seen kicking the ball away and with more impetus the than JC, but ignored by officials. I think the same happened v Preston. We can also point to Chair's yellow a while back for a little tap of the ball after a whistle. Whilst harsh, we, as a club need to be mindful of it but a bit of consistency from refereeing teams wouldn't go amiss. |

Will we see Walsh get a start at Coventry? It's pointless playing Begovic if he is departing and it may be a game with nothing riding on it. |

We need to ensure that we don't have a repeat of the Hull game where fast nippy forwards and skilful creative midfielders stretch our full backs and run through us. One very poor result for us and a decent win for Huddersfield could see that goal difference shrink dramatically. |

It was for kicking the ball away. Stupid booking However, he kept everything under control after that and made a huge contribution. Agree JCS mom, followed by Field. |

If you pay monthly by direct debit, then you have more control if you think you might end up cancelling. |

Best wishes Enfield. Hope you're back at Loftus Road in August for our Championship campaign, under Marti, with a new goalkeeper and better strikers. |

Speculation from me too but maybe it's about bonuses. He could still be getting some payments if he was available at Newcastle, which may be more than any bonuses that we offer. |

His best game for a very long time. A huge improvement on Friday, when he looked very nervy and indecisive. Well done Asmir and let's make that the standard for the last six. |

This thread just can't go on any longer without a mention of Johnny Cash. I grew up living blues and rock, Rory Gallagher, Thin Lizzy, Graham Parker etc. I didn't really like country (& western) but I always liked Johnny Cash. Then cames the American Records Series. The stripped down sound of Cash country produced by Rick Rubin and featuring such classics as 'Hurt' and 'The Beast in Me'. All of a sudden I was learning and listening to more country. I discovered the amazing Rodney Crowell, John Hiatt, Whiskeytown, Son Volt, Uncle Tupelo, Calexico, Albert Lee and many more. Among radio shows I now listen too is Ralph McClean Country from Northern Ireland and available on BBC sounds. He plays some great music. I still don't like big hats and hyped up hoo ha ha or whatever, but when the artist is a little different like Margo Cilker or Iris de Ment it's up there with the best in blues and rock for me. |

The one by Colback was a yellow all day long. One of his stupid 'red mist' moments after he had been knocked over and was denied a foul (it wasn't). I think he was probably also a bit annoyed at only being a sub. |
| Forum Reply | Begovic at 11:15 30 Mar 2024
It wasn't a great ball by Cooke but I thought that Begovic made a meal if it, should have got to it much quicker. Agree with you on all the rest though. |

Well it won't be with us. His decision making very suspect, very nervy, confidence eroding by the week. Thank goodness we now have a bit of a cushion, ease a little of the nerves for Begovic and all the squad. |
