A rare visitor from South Wales here - breaking Welsh lockdown rules and in West London for the moment. As part of our coverage of Saturday's game then we have a extensive build up ahead of the game which you may want to check out at the link below - interesting this morning to see that someone has updated Warburton's wikipedia to say that he will be sacked - based on what I was reading earlier not sure there will be any tears shed from your end. Anyway - check out the coverage below https://www.planetswans.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2496 And if you are interested then by all means follow us on Twitter @swansnews |
| Forum Thread | Thank You and goodbye from us to FansNetwork at 09:43 16 Jul 2020
As has been discussed on here in recent weeks and thank you everyone for your patience through some teething problems, we are now officially leaving Fans Network behind. I would like to thank Gavin and his team for their work in supporting Planet Swans since we moved here in 2014, during which the site has recorded more than 100 million page views. However, the time is for us to move on and you can now visit the Planet Swans webiste at https://www.planetswans.co.uk and the forum at https://www.planetswans.co.uk/forum. If you haven't already registered then you will need to - GDPR regulations clearly mean that we cannot transfer your user details from here, nor would we want to. Planet Swans has been around in it's current (and previous guise of JackArmy.net) since the turn of the century and I hope that it will continue for many more years to come. It has seen some of the highest years the Swans have experienced as well as some of our lowest lows. We hope that you all come with us on the move and enjoy the site as much as you have enjoyed our home here. If anyone has any questions n the new site then please feel free to email admin@planetswans.co.uk There are some key discussion topics still open on here (the legendary Brexit thread for one!) and they will remain open here and be moderated by the network. See you on the other site and thank you again to Fans Network for their hospitality over the years. |

Sad news this morning of the passing of a fellow Jack - Simon Davies from Carmarthen. One of life's good guys, someone I met on a few MAGs trips in the past and also on a professional level as well. Will be sadly missed. RIP YJB |

| Forum Thread | PLANET SWANS COMMUNITY - SUPPORTING ONE ANOTHER at 20:18 18 Mar 2020
It is at times like this that communities club together. Many people that post on here will have their own businesses hit by what is happening out there. if your business has been hit by tough times then please feel free to advertise it on this thread or ask for help to see if there is anything that others can do. I'm not sure that it will provide a solution for everyone but if it makes a difference for even one person then this thread is worthwhile

| Forum Thread | Please be sensitive posting at this time at 22:24 17 Mar 2020
Please think before posting about other posters who may be at high risk or have friends and relatives at high risk. Anxiety suppresses the immune system, so think about the impact of your post and can you justify the content versus its effect on others. Support what we all need to do, helping others, social distancing and contributing to saving lives. Laughter helps, innocuous humour will be a tonic. Be positive. |

| Forum Thread | Clarity On Usernames at 14:01 12 Feb 2019
There has been some new names created in the past few days designed to imitate regular posters (Loyal, Phil_S and exiledclaseboy being three) They have been tracked to one banned user (Scottish Eddie) who's own posting history throws up a very obvious match to another regular poster (I say at this point that it is none of Dimi, Shaky or T2C before anyone jumps to conclusions) The usernames will be banned as soon as spotted but to say I am deeply disappointed in the regular poster link is an understatement.
