35-year old journey man striker Michael Boulding played in the reserves today and scored in the 2-0 victory over Walsall reserves. Ben Pringle scored the first goal.
Boulding, who probably had most success at Mansfield Town, was released by Bradford City in the summer. Barnsley signed him (it's reported he offered to play for free to prove he was worth a contract) but they recently released him. He did not make a single first team appearance for Barnsley.
We have had other players on trial and not signed them ... but is this the striker market we're in for?
