Mid-table ahead!
Mid-table ahead!
Friday, 5th Sep 2008 21:37

There hasn't been much to cheer about this season, but RamZoners believe there is something positive to look forward to as they think the Rams will finish in a mid-table position.

Officially the goal is to get promoted, but almost everyone at Derby would surely be pleased if the current decline is stopped and the Rams start winning some games again. It's not about getting back to the Premier League, but getting the club back on the right track and start building for the future.

The Rams fans who voted in the RamZone poll are pretty much evenly split, though. 42% think it will end in mid-table while 16% think we'll get relegated and 22% believe we'll manage to get to the play-offs. 6% even think we'll finish in the top two! You can see the full results here.

Whether the Rams can go anywhere other than down with Paul Jewell at the helm is something which is being widely debated by Rams fans. Very few clubs would have kept a manager that has yet to win a match after such a long period but everyone just wrote off last season and looked forward to this one. Massive changes and weaker opposition, but still the same results have resulted in a lot of Rams fans losing their patience with him.

Are they in the majority or are most Rams fans still willing to wait and see if he can turn things around? Let us know what you think by casting your vote on the right hand side of this site!
