Bluebirds' battle "bumped" yet again! Thursday, 23rd Sep 2010 17:46 by Marko This time our old friends at Sky are responsible. Next month's visit of Cardiff City will now take place on Monday October 25th KO 7.45-pm so it can be shown live on Sky TV The fixture originally was scheduled for 3pm the previous Saturday but brought forward at the request of the Police to a 12:30 KO on the same day. Now it seems even less likely that rampaging hordes of Soul Crew members will make the trek north on a horrible late October Monday night, one wonders if the West Yorkshire Police operation will be scaled back? One doubts it, we know how much Plod like a few extra coppers in their wage packet! At least the TV money will go towards paying the Policing bill which understandably is a constant gripe for Uncle Ken. Meanwhile Leeds have today confirmed the month long loan-signing of Sunderland and Northern Ireland defender George McCartney. Macca, 29, is expected to go straight into the squad if not into the team at left-baclk for Saturday's highly anticipated Yorkshire derby with Sheffield United.
