Seen a few clips of him. Not sure what level he really plays at but he does have a beautiful left foot and a way of passing and getting round players that reminds me of Faurlin. Let's see. |

Not sure where you get the Gordon thing from. In the first half he was literally the only outlet going forward and had pace to burn. Our issue was they let us go wide and we decided to only do that down the left. |

To be fair it should have been 2-0 in the end although Palmer's miss was poor. Overall we looked like a team that was horribly rusty against a well organised team that got more and more confident as the game went on. Our delivery was shocking and it is worrying to see how a basic, well disciplined central low block totally bamboozled us. |

I think they need Saka down one wing and Gordon down the other. No pace down the right at the moment. Credit to Iceland, they have been so well disciplined in the first half. |

I can't help but quite like Wayne Rooney. He always comes across as a very modest character and he speaks well. That said he is starting to look like Captain Birdseye on a daily basis and has definitely eaten all the fish fingers. He also strikes me as actually being too nice to be a manager. |

However, the owners of City have more money than God and vastly outgun the Premiership financially to defend their position. Whereas I agree that clubs can't just break rules and buy their way out the Premiership and the FA should be very cautious with this because they could find themselves being wiped out in the process and then what? So much as I don't like the posturing and such by City I also think that perhaps it is about time someone took the authorities on at their own game. They created these monsters and if they're not careful they'll get eaten by one of them. |

A lot of youngsters being signed up on professional contracts and it seems that this is all very stats led. It does feel that some real effort to create a development squad that actually can feed to first team squad is being assembled... or am I just deluded? |

Yes he made some bad errors in games last season but he also made some vital saves. The one against the excellent Millar in the Preston game comes to mind which proved pivotal.
The only problem is that he is the highest earner at the club by some distance and would the money be better spent getting Hayden in and possibly another. Do we spend that kind of money on someone who will be 37 when the new season starts or use the money wisely to get other players in and perhaps offer Chair a better contract? |

On the upside from that photo he's more mobile than some weeks.
Crap news for him in all seriousness. You don't get stretchered off in training unless you've done something pretty bad. |
