God knows what Taylor Harwood-Bellis must be thinking sat on the bench. Sorry to say Bazunu is a total liability even at this level and we have nothing else in the locker that's much of an improvemenr. What is Mara doing on the pitch? Disappointed to see Charles not in the starting XI.
This is the second half decent team we have played so far this season and we have conceded 7 goals in one and a half matches. Ouch! |

And that break can help us to get those new players settled in and for RM can now see which players, who’ll be with us for a few more months, can do what and hopefully make today very much a one off situation! | |

The issue is that shit doesn't become gold, Bazunu is shit, Stephens is shit, Bednarek is shit, Holgate coming here had Evertonians rolling around pissing themselves laughing (my mates) so I'm not hopeful of extra training will turn them anything into slightly older shit by the time our next match comes round. |  |

Not sure what the plan was there and the team selection was baffling. Carved open time and again. Smallbone was atrocious and Holgate looked like he'd never played before. And then we go to a long ball team in the second half with 5ft Fraser expected to win headers.

Everyone was utterly sh*te today!
Bazunu at fault for their 3rd one and made a few other mistakes that almost lead to goals.
Manning and KWP both caught out of position far to many times, and both at fault for a goal.
Holgate and Bednerak both doing very little, giving away the ball far too much and at fault for most of the goals today, with Holgate being especially poor with his passing.
Midfield wise, Downes was unlucky around the own goal, but still should’ve done more for their 2nd and 5th one, and Charles just couldn’t put any of those bearded chances away from the corners.
Then Stu, Fraser, Adams, Edozie and A.Armstrong all just created nothing and could barely ever get the ball into the box, Edozie having a few early chances to get a goal before the game was put to bead!
And then Alcaraz didn’t create much but gave away the ball poorly for their 5th goal, and Mara did bugger all both up front and at the back creating nothing and marking nobody for their first goal!
Overall everyone was appalling today, and I sure do hope RM can sort out a lot of this nonsense over the international break, so that when we play Leicester we play our best 11 and don’t make so many appealing mistakes! As I think it’s just Sulamamna, TP and the city defender that haven’t exactly been given a chance in the championship now, but with how we performed today I can’t see them doing much worse!
But hopefully just like Burnley’s 5-2 defeat to Sheffield United last season, this is just a little bump in the road… | |

12 goals conceded in 5 league games suggests Martin can’t set up a team that knows how to defend. The fault lies with him and him alone. At this rate we will conceded over 100 goals by the end of the season. Why we can’t appoint a decent manager is beyond me. Jones Selles and now RM. |  |
