Haha, 40 plus years ago, a Welsh mate of mine drunkenly stumbled onto the train at Baker St intending to alight at Wembley Park. Woke up in Amersham. Boarded the next train heading back, woke up at Baker St. Still giddy, found his way to another platform and tried again, woke up in Uxbridge. Got a cab home.
Yeah, I didn't really care for him while he was with us (truth be told I had little liking for many in that squad), but he was an affable bloke and there was certainly much more to complain about with others who signed on.
As per usual, when I'm actually attending, I won't or am unlikely to be posting any foreigner friendly vids for the next three games due to a huge surge in the consumption of alcohol, resulting in far less time arsing around.
I thought it was a poor effort. Looked good but was predictable and an easy save for their keeper. I’d have liked to see him take two or three more steps, or even pass it.
