I just flicked off a box set I was watching and my “viewing platform” had been left on SkySports Main Event FHD At first I thought it was some sort of preview show. Christ on a three wheeled bike…… they’ve plumbed news depths with that shite.
However…. I would watch W12 Circus Live with Christian and Lee.
This is all true........... apart from the football world.
Yes there will be a few "Club Employees" like Box Office workers etc. However, in the main people are employed on "Service Term Contracts" (or that's what I believe they are called).
If you want someone out then you pay up the balance of the Contract unless there is some form of break clause you can rely on. This is why you have fcukrs like Jose Moaninho with circa £27million in the bank just from compensation payments alone.
It really is the economics of the madhouse that abject failure can come with such rewards. A bit like being employed by the goverment and getting £75k for being wrapped up in alledged dodginess.
Returning to the W12 Circus -- you could sack everyone with a pulse and I'm still not sure it would really make a difference unless all the new brooms have a culture reset and we start to operate at the best achieveable standards. Cannot see that happening.
Could only just bring myself to watch both those interviews.
We're f**k'd. Big time.
The clarity and honesty bit's resonate the most. I have no idea what the Frenchman wants out of some of these players - for example I will use Saito. The lad is patently out of sorts, poor form, not suited to this level - any number of issues. He's having to play as pressure from the top will be he's cost a lot, is a warm body, needs to click. In the first half I saw the Frenchman signalling to him on numerous occassions and at one stage he came over to the bench whilst Brum were attacking (ie any moment in 99% of that half).... Saito looked like he'd just been asked what the square root of 23,789 was and jogged back to the centre circle. It was then I realised that Saito had started on the left of a front three, then had gone 10 mins as the actual CF as Kone done his dropping deep bollox and now Saito took up a slot as the right of a three. This was all within 30 minutes of a game. The clarity is that the whole of the club management level are unsuited to be in charge of an EFL Championship squad.
Honesty? There's no culture of honesty at this club... case for the prosecution Messrs Cook and Field. I dont care what messages come out - Steve Cook has been fcukd about from above and there's not been straight up convo's with him. I mention Field as you cannot have your Head Coach bemoaning a lack of expereince or midfield options 4 weeks after one you had in the building has been sent off to land of six fingers and now sits above us.
Thoughts and prayers with all travelling this weekend and please God let us get six points as soon as possible and then Ruben can ride in on his white charger and let some blood.
It absolutely amazes me what a lot of our rank and file fans have accepted this last 12 or so years. I've gone beyond the point now where I'm surprised there's not been large scale demonstrations at the circus in front of us..... was a contributory factor to dropping my ST after 33 years.
Nourry will be going nowhere. There's a public quote from a while ago where it was stated "the club will be sticking to the path no matter what and not panicking over any run of form or be it bad or good" or words to the extent. I remember thinking at the time it was basically a golden ticket for the Nourryvirus to do what he wants carte-blanche and was very concerning.
It's another Groundhog Day for me as I've thought we'd get relegated every year since the day dot.... forever thinking the sky is falling in as many have put it. This year feels worse (they always do becuase it's the here and now!!) but bigger concern now due to us falling itno a massive rut at exactly the wrong time with very little option to change anything or turn the circus tanker.
We can only circle the drain so many times and one thing I am sure of; if we do drop it will need something drastic to stop us dropping further due to how the current idiots in charge have set us up.

This can also be a problem - when discussing this previously I sighted the high profile case of Michael Owen who was pushed too hard too young and his hammys were an issue thereafter.
I'm wise after the event on Poku admittedly but football isn't my business. I've said on here before that when we were linked a fella I worked with who lives up that way and has Posh connections told me Darragh was having us over and delighted to be getting £900k as the lad would have ongoing injury issues after a huge spell out for them.
Like I say.... I am just a mug punter but.....if someone says to me "here is player X, was absolutey electric, looked to be going places, career held up due to a hamstring injury last year when he was out for six months"; then I'm getting VERY strong Chris Willock vibes to be honest.
Everything crossed that hours get reduced by 75% and a reflective increase in pay of 20% above inflation gets rubber stamped by Khant and the rest. Bank Holiday's coming up in May so keep the strike powder dry for an extra 12 days a year Annual leave for then please.
Repeating myself but……. The lad won’t make more than 50 full appearances across his Contract.
As stated above, a shame as he “looks” a player. The club has to stop burning money buying duds, crocks and flawed players - it’s a false economy that has the most minimal of success rates. This happens when you have novices going up against shrewd experienced football operators and this transfer epitomises that.
