I don't think he takes all the blame for any of them but I think all of them were saveable, whether you want to say thats with a bit more luck or with a bit better keeper is up to you. Gets best at his near post for the first, a tough shot but the saying is always a keeper should never get beat at his near post for a reason. Also made a couple of excellent stops and deserves the credit for those |

More than enough blame to go around today including enough to throw a big chunk of it at Mbengue |

Would definitely agree that Walsh made some very good saves today but also could have done a little better for all of their goals. Not sure about Kolli, technically you're right but unless the subsequent events lead to a goal (which they did) then nobody would ever mention that mis control again. Plenty of chances to stop it after that |

This is why it's premier League or bust. A large part of their valuation is actually wrapped up in the owners themselves. Does the Netflix show still have the eyeballs if Joe Smith owns the club not Ryan Reynolds? Smart potential buyers will realize the value of their purchase decreases the second they buy it and they are left with a ludicrous wage bill and are underwater on cost. That goes out the window if it's a premier League club though |

I'm not sure I agree it was acclimatizing, I think we have hit on a system and manager this year that can get the best out of him. He's been great this year, really good, but the very best players are adaptable enough to look good in most systems. Whether he gets a big move will depend on whether the potential buying team looks at him this season and gets enamoured, or whether they look at his whole body of work and wonder whether they have the right system to bring the best out of him, and at higher levels he doesn't have the talent for someone to create the system around him. But, it only takes one team to take the first approach... And let's enjoy the fact for now that this version of Madsen is a big positive for us. |

That last throw was Moore's fault not Williams, but the pick earlier in the game was a bad throw. All year we've been the worse team and won, I thought we actually outplayed the Rams last night...and lost. Whoever won that game was getting smashed by the Seahawks next week, they look seriously good. Helluva season though, thoroughly enjoyed it even if my heart didn't, and I think we'll be dangerous next year. |

I'm quite excited that we're having this conversation in January to be honest! |

I think the ignore button is great as long as it's used sparingly. If I find myself constantly getting wound up by reading comments from someone, even if I don't reply, then onto the list they go and it actually makes the experience more pleasurable. The only annoying thing is that you can't view the entire thread if they happened to start it, although in some cases I guess that is a blessing. I think I have 6-7 in total on there but pretty sure only 1 or 2 are actually still posting most are dead accounts from a decade ago. A lot of them never posted anything about QPR anyway but would be regulars in the political threads. |

I miss keeper kicks like that |

Well yes I agree. The point being that all the frustrating things that he doesn't seem good at are coachable and more give him more upside than an all around "good" striker. He might not get there, Armstrong didn't, but at this point there's no reason to believe he cant |
 | Forum Reply | January transfer rumours at 21:02 14 Jan 2026
Reminds me a lot of Sinclair Armstrong. Not in physique or style, but because he has one hard to coach elite attribute (pace and power for Armstrong, ability to find the net Kone) and a lot of the basic stuff is well below par. Intuitively it's easier to coach the below average stuff up to an acceptable level than get someone from "good" to "elite" on a skill, and if you do, you have a £10M+ player. Doesn't make it a given, Amstrong never got it. Kone we'll see, but I'm hopeful that he will. |

Fascinating to read this thread and the Kolli one. Defenders have to be solid all game, but if they make one mistake it turns from a great game to a poor one. Strikers can have a terrible game but one moment of brilliance turns it from a poor one to a great one. Who'd be a defender eh? |

Videos surfacing today of the post game speech by the Bears coach which started with the immortal phrase "Fck the Packers, Fck that team, I hate those guys" Imagine Julian Stephen saying that after we just beat Chelsea. And then the club tweeting it from the official account. Instant hero. |

This city is pumped. Nothing better than beating the Packers. Crazy season. Pats looking like the only team that's really complete from top to bottom, could be anyone from the NFC |

This is what is meant by the magic of the FA cup. Not man City reserves playing Liverpool reserves. Fair play to them, hope they celebrate long into the night |
