We were talking in the Crown beforehand, how many substitutions that Stephan has made this season have actually been his choice? A tactical, managerial choice rather than an injury or somebody having their minutes managed... |

Mowatt, who I've always really rated, absolutely dreadful. |

They looked pretty fcking awful to me. We've just beaten them 4-1 in third gear. |

Mbengue comes on last night with the left knee heavily strapped and lasts ten minutes, hoes down with nobody around him. Not good. |

I think I'm in for ten tickets.
Fifth in the league, unbeaten away, 4-1 last night, these are the good old days etc.
Let's get a bit excited mate come on |

I had a really good look at Adamson playing underneath me last night. He barely put a foot wrong, nobody really went round him, he kept it very simple and looked assured.
The thing I'm interested in as we move forwards and he gets more games... Is he (quite reasonably) being instructed to play like that? You're new to the league, you're young(ish), it's a big step up, for the first 20-25 games just keep it nice and tight and steady. Don't let your winger come inside, don't get caught up field, just tuck in nice and narrow next to Jimmy, do the basics, defend your box.
ATM we do lose a little bit going forwards with him on that side because, well, at the moment he doesn't. Not in the same way Kemper, Cirkin, Lamptey and Mbengue have licence to. I wonder if he's been told to just hang back on that for now and as he becomes more settled he'll be permitted to be a bit more ambitious going forwards.
Not a criticism by any means, just a little nugget about Stephan's coaching/man management perhaps. |

I think it's a great sign of a positive squad culture that we've got two players in Lloyd and Adamson who none of us would have had anywhere near our preferred teams in August and they've played their way in through commitment, dedication and form. QPR have fawned over 'names' too often since the money arrived, I absolutely love Stephan's approach that he doesn't care who you are or how old you are if you deserve a shirt you'll be getting one, even if that means leaving a more prominent squad member out. |

Derby blinked first on that one and we scored almost straight away. Szmodics was absolutely steaming with somebody. |
