When we did our end of term reviews last year his 'goals per minute' total was the best in the squad, and his win percentage was double almost everybody else in the team. We won 30% of our games last year, we won 50% when he played...

Yeh the result, for me, is the only positive apart from Kolli's impact. It was an unwinnable game in many ways - win and it's what you were supposed to do, anything else and you'll get hammered for it which is what the ground felt like it was gearing up to do had Wednesday equalised.
We've won, but you'd do well not to win against that level of opponent, and at what cost? We've got eight games in January, an FA Cup tie next week we wanted them to have a good swing at, what is left of our team mentally and physically after this Christmas period? What XI can we actually pick at West Ham now? |

Oh look, Rayan Kolli scoring goals again when given some pitch time. Who would have thought?
Might have been nice to see him against Norwich (who he buried last season) because their keeper would have conceded if we’d ever bothered having a shot as well. |

I agree with you on that, but you can't think that performance yesterday was acceptable? I gave them a pass at Portsmouth, and to a large extent at West Brom, but that was fcking awful yesterday.
Not the worst ever, not a catastrophe, not "we're going down", but really bad. Sitting through that first half I just couldn't believe the standard of what I was watching. |

There's a cohort of our online support who absolutely detest Smyth to weird levels, but the messages he's received go beyond that into proper mental illness.
Unfortunately there's a lot of it about. In life and internet and society in general, but at QPR in particular there is definitely an unhinged weirdo or two within our midst who get off on anonymous hate campaigns via email and DM.
I've been receiving stuff like this for the last couple of years. Dozens of them... And I'm not the only one from the podcast/website circuit who's getting this stuff either. Always deeply personal and designed to cause maximum hurt and upset.
