Agreed, although the he Lamptey transfer now looks the absolute gamble we thought it was, bit too early to call if a farce. Even if this transfer doesn’t work out unless we see the details of the finances behind it will be impossible to suggest with confidence it as a mistake.
What is ridiculous is fans suggesting what a great transfer window we had when we haven’t seen players play for us or even knowledge of their fitness. |

It seemed the Obikwu transfer was just ‘one for the future’, never really understood why the expectations are to see him play and make a big difference when he was struggling to get in a League one side and scored very few goals. For me it was only ever a gamble on a player we could develop.
Massive problems upfront now that RB is out, really not sure the answer. |

Agree with all this, the manager does give frequent general updates on players and their injuries. If the club give an exact update, which is hard to do anyway, it can cause frustration if the player then doesn’t recover in time and gives the opposition a clear advantage knowing who they will and won’t be facing. |

I wasn’t totally convinced last season but am shocked as to how far he is fallen, doesn’t look fit and bereft of any confidence, now injured again. |

I’m worried about this one, Brum in good form with few injuries and I think that extra day to recover after we had 110mins of football will make a difference. Would be very happy with a draw. |

Kone continues to absolutely miles off it, assume he is now fully fit so even more odd that he really struggled again, I can’t see him making much of an impact any time soon unfortunately so really do need Burrell back quickly. |

I’ll second that, didn’t think we actually played that well, just up against a poor side defensively and took our chances. Worth considering how many players they were missing and further disrupted by the early sub.
No complaints great win and got the job done just think we have and will play better. |

Notice the club calling it a ‘3 game week’ when was a week 9 days long? Pedantic I know but even a Sat-Tue-Sat is 8 days not technically a 3 game week, just an annoyance of mine! [Post edited 14 Oct 13:19]

Almost no chance if something happens to City and then don’t play him he will go to a Premier side, small chance if we go up I suppose.
Need to get Ward improving and replicating Charles style as best we can ready for next season. |

I didn’t see Kemper struggling and JS said in his post match that it was planned, so I’d hope and expect to see him Wednesday.
My guess is same 11 starting with maybe one change at the back, resting JCS or Adamson. |

Not fully getting the Adamson love, been pretty good (when he has played) but are we falling in the a similar trap to Madsen, goes from poor to quite good and everyone raves about him?

Well said. My take is that a few have taken Kolli’s side vs the club and are now so entrenched in that view that even when presented we details, which were given in a very fair way, now refuse to believe this or now suggest there is more to it. What I don’t understand is what sort of conspiracy they actually believe, surely the situation is perfectly clear now.
We need to move on, we all want Kolli to either do well for QPR and/or make us a profit, let’s hope he gets fully into training with a positive attitude and forces his way into the team or gets sold in January for a nice profit. |

Really good fans forum, best for some time, all 3 communicated really well and am sure helped the club and fan relationship, would like to see see these more often.
CN has come in for criticism previously but not sure what else he could have done or said tonight, straight answers to all questions and didn’t dodge the tricky subjects such as Kolli. |

Of course they can watch the match but why give them the advantage of a definitive answer as to whether Dunne is now fit enough to play, same goes for other such as Saito and Poku? it’s a small advantage not to tell the opposition but without doubt it helps if you know for sure who is fit to play and who isn’t. Teams will have extensive analysts which can work with individual players to show their direct opponents strengths and weaknesses, for the sake of us knowing let’s not give away this advantage.
I do agree on being fair to the fans and giving a length of time out, although I wonder how easy that is to really assess, recovery times must be vary a lot and often setbacks in training, but a rough idea should be given. |
