Whilst we were far from deserving of a win today, I don't think we deserved to lose. Unfortunate with the deflected first goal, capitulation for the second, and then their third fell kindly from a terribly scuffed shot. Crewe are far from "all that" on today's showing and they are now up to 3rd. They marked Middleton out of the game first half, then when he finally started getting the ball we got our own fortunate deflected goal, and the 2nd came from that side too.
I think Tobi was better today than the last game but if Beckwith is fit enough to start on the left and Tasker move back to the right, then that should be how we start games.
Taylor really needs to improve his final ball, shot, or deciding to try to beat another man if he's holding on to that 10 position because he played well today up until having to choose that, and it was pretty much utter crap every time. Wouldn't mind trying Francis there as it looked like he did late on, or East when back fit. [Post edited 17 Oct 17:25]

Probably the better team for the first half an hour, don't even have shot on target, then start to drop back and get stuck. Bit unlucky with the deflection on the first but that second goal is absolutely dire. Thought we'd left that shite back with the first few games. [Post edited 17 Oct 15:51]

The stewards won't even ENFORCE people being at a seat to begin with, never mind enforcing them to go to their allocated one. There's always people stood/sat on the steps and across behind the back row of seats.
Having reserved stickers on season‑ticket holders’ seats makes it clearer to everyone else that those are already taken, which surely increases the likelihood that other fans will sit in their own allocated seats. Having the reserved stickers INFORMS that the stadium is operating with assigned seating rather than a sit‑anywhere system, reducing the chances of a free‑for‑all.
"Reserved stickers cause confusion at non-season ticket games such as cup games and women’s games." This is just a nonsense argument, anyone with half a brain cell or more would know this applies to men's league games and that if they had a ticket for one of the other games in a seat with a sticker, clearly it doesn't apply to that game. Handy that Tasker and TAR can probably swap as required, both capable either side. Thought ZSD may start in Smith's place but happy to see Hayes, if he's fit enough for an hour or so. |

Bright start in this game first 10, good passing. It's quite a strong team we have out starting to be fair and I would expect (hope?) a few will be off at half-time whatever the score to give the youngsters 45min.
And we concede... i'll shut up now. Hendo played them in for an early chance, Mani played them in for the goal haha. [Post edited 6 Oct 19:15]

Not surprised at Boreham Wood, Garrard is a brilliant manager.
Very surprised at Carlisle's position but listening to their commentator blatantly disrespect Woking after this penalty, fook them they deserve it.

Middleton quality until he understandably faded. If we don't get Flint for the season its a massive fumble, MoM today for me. Brown worked his nuts off again.
As much as you don't want to see another injury, good to see a 'keeper that keeps it simple and doesn't put unnecessary pressure on the defence with his chaos... [Post edited 26 Sep 16:58]
