Most important thing: is it Grasshopper or GrasshopperS - singular or plural? I'm sure in the old days it was Grasshoppers Zurich. Maybe its translation or a re-brand. We/I should be told.

Christian Nourry - Two Year Anniversary
at 15:50 27 Jan 2026

All good points on here. I think, as someone said, the best CEOs/DOFs should be like the best referees - if they're doing a good job, you forget they are there and struggle to remember their names.

The fact we are aware of, and are marking, Mr Nourry's two-year anniversary suggest that there is a lot of room for improvement. If we start forgetting all about him, it means things are going well, football-wise.

That's really interesting and important to know - thanks. I must admit I did not click this.

Still gutted, mind you, but takes a tiny bit of sting away.

Thanks for this - I have to admit I'm not getting to many games this season so I've 'missed the memo' on this. What are these substitution windows and how do they work?

Would be good if someone could explain because fans are clearly raging about not subbing on Edwards on 89 mins? We should be told etc..

Yes, that possibility occurred to me too. On Summerville in particular.

My only other faint crumb of comfort is that Liverpool lost 3-2 today in the 95th minute too. Maybe its clutching at straws, or a 50-year thing, but it was the lightest of light relief.

Big game for Dembele now. Lot of pressure on the lad - really hope he can rise to the challenge.

Going to be tough - Rangers 1 Wrexham 2 I'm afraid.

Yep, if he's happy, I would say retain him here as an important team player. Good, solid, versatile footballer imho. I wouldn't imagine he'd want to play regular League One football with Oxford next season.

Let's have this right - an away point on a January night in awful conditions for football, a team clearly decimated by injuries throughout the squad (a situation which clearly worsened as the game went on), against a team desperately fighting relegation with a new manager (they would have targeted this game, be in no doubt). Ex-Premier League Southampton and Ipswich both left here with nothing this season.

I feel for our fans who paid and went - but that has to be seen as another good merited point on the road which gets us into the 40s (psychological?).

We are Rangers - for decades we lose these games 1-0, over and over again. Charity Park Rangers? Not tonight.

Where I am. We're clearly decimated, they're clearly desperate. Would be certainly happy with another hard-fought 0-0 given the circumstances.

Good luck to Justin and welcome.

To confirm, he can't/won't play any part against Oxford tomorrow (my first question) - see last line of club statement.

A fine point on the road. For so many years we lose games like these with ease. Well played all.

A nice morale boost to see Ronnie on that bench, though. Suspect that this is the point, rather than any serious intent to use him today.

Craig Gordon's save
at 12:06 17 Jan 2026

The 'Terrible' Trio - Conn, Bauld and Wardhaugh - under Tommy Walker. By all accounts, one of the truly great post-war sides. Had a GD of +101 (plus one hundred and one goals) in one season...incredible.

Yes, it would be wonderful if Hearts could do it this season. The pessimist in me insists that it remains impossible, given the ludicrous ongoing financial advantage of the Gruesome Twosome. But great for them to hope and dream.

Sadly, in these modern footballing times, it might be worth them sacking off the Scottish Cup today in the 'finest' Warnockian style. Tbf that was probably their undoing in the trauma of 1985-86.
