Nothing to do with physical fitness. Purely mental. They are not in a good place atm and it's showing.
It didn't help that the first two goals were bad luck on our part but that wouldn't have helped their mental state.
Football and indeed sport in general is played just as much from the head as it is the heart and lungs. |  |
