Derby Hatred 12:56 - Feb 24 with 2561 viewsDySporting

Ok with McCarthy http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/39068221 surprised by the hatred at East Anglian Derbies it got me wondering which local derby does have the most hatred.

The Norwich/ipshite derbies I attended always had a very tasty atmosphere. I did also go to a WBA/Wolves derby many years ago and that was quite an atmosphere.

Bristol derbies are meant to be fairly bad tempered too.

Probably impossible to quantify, and may ebb and flo depending on circumstances, relative league positions, recent events

Each has it own unique flavour I suppose, but it's always interesting to observe those of others as a neutral, after witnessing your own local derby; some aspects of the rivalry will seem incomprehensible to outsiders
