A keeper should not be beaten from the edge of the box by a looping header. |

He should be positioned for a ball that might come his way from the original lump forward. If it landed on the penalty spot he'd need a good starting point, ie. his six yard box.
You don't see many keepers stood on their goalline when the opposition have the ball on halfway. | |

It was obvious the ball wasn't coming deep, it was at this point that Lucas should have been back-peddling from the edge of his 6 yard box. I'm not saying he would have saved it but he was definitely poorly positioned - there was absolutely no need to be where he was. |  |
