Wembley Parking for Charity
at 20:43 23 May 2024

If anyone is thinking of driving and parking up in Wembley for any events etc:

Bubbly
020 8902 7554

She charges £20 (I always give her more), and gives it ALL to charity (hospitals in West London). She ropes in lots of her neighbours and their driveways, so always has lots of parking options.

She lives on Vivian Avenue, which is just behind Wembley, very close.

A LOVELY old Indian Lady, she’ll keep you on the phone for 20mins, buts she is so sweet, it’s worth it.

Give her a bell and tell her I gave you her number.

I’ll hold my hands up and admit that I’m not the most politically-minded, but I am one of these ‘all as bad as each other’ types. I don’t trust any of them.

You back me, and I’ll give you a job… regardless of whether or not you’re right for it.

^^ This is how I see politicians.

I’m undoubtedly ignorant I guess, but I’ve got a lot more evidence to support my view than anyone that tells me that politicians care about me andthe country i live in, over their own ambition and agenda. Of course there are politicians out there that want to do right, but these are the minority IMO.

Our system is archaic and out of touch, and in a different world to the one I walk around in.

Just my opinion.

Southgate’s replacement.

Defensively though we look very short on quality and experience, and knowing Southgate he will prioritise this over any other area of the pitch I reckon.

Shaw unlikely to go.

So, gun to your head, who gets sent home (assuming no injuries)?

Trafford
Quansah
Jones
Wharton
Eze
Gordon
Grealish

I'd obviously love Eze to go, but reckon Mediocre Maddison will go instead.

Love that, just brilliant - that’s for all of you that went and made a difference.

After a couple of seasons of feeling really low about my club, I go into the summer filled with genuine hope and excitement for next year.

So if I post on here that I would like Charlie Austin back next season, would I get nothing but kind responses?

Of course not.

If I had known there was any kind of mitigating circumstances like age or cognitive function, of course I would have said nothing, but I didn't know. I also kept it polite and wasn't particularly unkind, I just said it was pretty out there in terms of his views on certain things.

It's not a lack of respect to express an opinion on someone else's opinion, and if we were only allowed to express an opinion because done the thing ourselves, then none of us would have f*ck all to say on here now would we?

I totally agree with you.

Although, why are you assuming he has special needs?

I'm getting ready to stick it in reverse...

I don't want to start a new thread about this, but on the Open all R's podcast, they have a fella debuting on there (Jamie?)... I'm stunned with his views on QPR, players, transfers etc. I know it's all about opinions, but that was a pretty mental listen.

Our club has been fücked for quite a while, it seems to be getting itself unfúcked as we speak.

He was a poor manager for us, but I don’t feel he’s said anything untrue, just spinning it to make himself less culpable.

Excellent Clive, as always.

The first thing I want to do after a win, or maybe a draw, is watch the league highlights the following morning on ITV4, but never after a loss.

Win, lose or draw, I can’t wait for your report, and likewise for the preview. I’m amazed you always deliver, and there’s always some laugh out loud moments.

Bravo mate, keep ‘em coming, it’s appreciated, if not financially rewarding.

I think its neck and neck for me - my feelings for John Terry, and my feeling about the term 'clapping back'.

Yep, but the amount of £ is just eye watering, and to think that for some of the big clubs this is going to be BAD news!

Premier League spending cap

https://news.sky.com/story/premier-league-clubs-agree-squad-spending-cap-in-prin

The amount of money just tossed out there for discussion is obscene.

I saw a report where they said that the club who finishes last is given £103m in TV revenue, and an example multiplier was 4.5, so the richest clubs can only spend 4.5 times the lowest income of a club in the EPL on their squad - so they can only spend £463.5m on their squad… and we’re keeping everything crossed that we can bring in approx £12m from Eze sale.

Mind boggling.
