And so the transfer rumours continue as the Daily Mirror links West Ham with a £4m move for Angel Rangel

Hot on the heels of Celtic reported as being interested, it is not Gianfranco Zola and West Ham who are tracking Rangel according to reports as a replacement for Lucas Neill who is yet to agree a new deal at Upton Park.

The paper reports that the Swans 'want' £4m for the man widely regarded as one of the best right backs outside the Premiership.

The report in today's Daily Mirror says "West Ham boss Gianfranco Zola is chasing Swansea's Spanish right-back Angel Rangel - as a potential replacement for out-ofcontract Lucas Neill.

"Zola has been tracking the highly-rated defender for weeks and could make an offer if Australian star Neill does not accept the new and reduced terms on offer to stay.

"Rangel has been tracked by several Premier League clubs and Manchester City are also keen, with Swans looking for around £4million.

"The 26-year-old has been a major success story for Roberto Martinez, who originally signed him from little-known club Terrassa on a pay-as-you-play deal.

"Now Rangel is rated one of the best right-backs outside the Premier League and he could be playing at that level next season if Hammers come up with the cash."
